OFFICIAL ADVISORY: The application 'Lemo Player' (com.anostudio.storyland) is an unauthorized counterfeit clone. The developer has stolen intellectual property and hardcoded this unauthorized domain. Furthermore, this app contains disguised backdoors distributing pirated copyright material (beIN Sports, Canal+). A DMCA takedown has been filed.
LemoPlayer ("we", "us", or "our") built the LemoPlayer app as an Ad-Supported / Free app. This SERVICE is provided by us at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service on Android (Google Play Store) or iOS (Apple App Store).
1. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain non-personally identifiable information. LemoPlayer itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data to our servers.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device, primarily for serving advertisements and tracking app crashes to improve stability.
- AdMob (Google): Used to display advertisements. AdMob collects and uses data such as advertising IDs (Android Advertising ID on Android, and IDFA on iOS) to serve personalized ads.
- Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics: Used to anonymously understand how the app is used and to fix bugs.
For iOS Users: We comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You will be explicitly prompted to grant permission before your device identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized advertising across third-party apps and websites.
For Android Users: We comply with Google Play's Families Policy and User Data policies. You can manage, reset, or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time via your device's Google Settings.
2. Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
3. Media Playback & User Content
LemoPlayer acts strictly as a media player tool. We do not host, store, distribute, or provide any media content, playlists, or streams. Users are solely responsible for the M3U playlists and video URLs they input into the app. Playlists are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
4. Security
We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
